The potential galvanostatic pulse method allows for the evaluation of corrosion density, electrical resistance, and natural potential. While measuring corrosion density, measurements of concrete electrical resistance and natural potential can also be conducted simultaneously. Reliable assessments of rebar corrosion can be achieved even when the concrete surface is in a wet state, carbonated state, or treated for corrosion protection, as natural potential and electrical resistance can be obtained.
